Zonara operates a classifieds marketplace covering Cars, Bikes, Matrimony, Properties, Mobiles, Electronics, Furniture and Jobs. This policy explains what we collect when you browse listings, post an ad, save favorites, or contact another user, and how that information is used, shared, and protected.
By using the Zonara app or zonara.in, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

Zonara spans very different kinds of listings — the personal information involved isn't the same for a mobile phone ad as it is for a Matrimony profile. Here's what each category typically involves.

We use your information to operate the marketplace: matching you with relevant ads by city and category, enabling contact between buyers and sellers, personalizing your Favorites and search results, sending order/listing alerts, and detecting fake or fraudulent listings.

- Edit or delete your profile and listings anytime from your account.
- Turn off notifications from the bell icon or device settings.
- Request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, via the contact details below.
- Withdraw consent for optional data (e.g. precise location) at any time — some features may then be limited.
🔒 7. Data security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we encourage strong, unique passwords and caution when sharing contact details in listings.
🗄️ 8. Retention
We keep account and listing data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to meet legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations. Deleted listings are removed from public view immediately and purged from backups on a routine cycle.
🧒 9. Children's privacy
Zonara is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors; if we learn we have, we'll delete it promptly.
📝 10. Policy changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect. The "Effective date" above always reflects the latest version.
